The 2nd amendment is put in place to protect against a tyrannical government.

First, if you have to have that in writing to go after a tyrannical government, how does one know what tyrannical is without being told? If you can't see tyranny without a document telling you a government power is trampling all of our rights, then you should really check your moral compass. Second, the government isn't out of control or perfect but these tragic mass shooting events are.

Second, how do you expect to stop the most advanced, the largest military presence on planet Earth with your ruger?
